This is far from a specialist coffee shop. This is a super friendly community café, if you want to sit quietly and watch the world go by you can, if you want to meet and talk to friendly people you can go in alone and make new friends quickly. Nice chilled out place, great place to relax. Andrew is a great host – it’s really a place where everybody knows your name.

Stopped here for a quick coffee, while on my 60th Birthday nostalgia trip. Proprietor very friendly and chatty, and the place had a really nice atmosphere to go with a fantastic coffee. Recommend if passing, drop in.

Quite possibly, the best coffee I’ve ever had!!! I’m a well travelled 51 year old coffee buff, and this was an absolute 10 out of 10. Almost worth the 3 hour journey time in itself. Wonderful little place ????????

On our walk to the nearby Imperial War Museum, our family stopped in this wonderful cozy coffee shop to have a full English breakfast. Andrew, the owner, was very pleasant and attentive to all of us and quickly provided excellent drinks and food. We had a wonderful chat about our Alabama home and Andrew's world travels. The coffee, orange juice, and eggs& toast breakfast were absolutely delicious. His collection of books is very interesting and diverse, and are available for his customers to read. I highly recommend this special coffee shop to everyone.

That’s what I wouldn’t expect in “anonymous” London: a small, simple and cute coffee shop where a sweet “aunt” will heat a croissant and make a coffee giving you the feeling that she’s doing this “for you only” (and some other nephews who could eventually come in).
