We chose Local Builders For You for a side return extension and full internal renovation of our-mid terraced house in East London, including layout changes, plumbing and rewiring, with our project running from Jan-June 2022. We chose to go with Robert and his team on the recommendation of a neighbour, and we have been delighted with the work. Having spoken to a few builders initially, we found Robert very calm, fair and easy to communicate with from the start, which was important to us. Most importantly, we are very pleased with the high quality of the build - foreman Norbert and his team all take great care with their work with no shortcuts taken, ensuring a lasting quality finish that looks fantastic. Subcontractors (plumber, electrician and tiler) were all highly skilled and six months on from the completion of our build, we have had remarkably little snagging. They are an efficient team, maximising time on site to get things done in a logical order. They were also pleasant and polite to have around while we were living in their building site! Communication with both Robert and Norbert was excellent throughout, with clear breakdowns of the scope to ensure understanding of the agreement on both sides. Any negotiation was fair and friendly. Norbert was always around and Robert was readily available if we had anything to discuss. They also had useful suggestions of different or improved approaches to some things, helping to speed things up, give better longevity or improve cost effectiveness. Overall we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Local Builders For You, and would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend them.

We've used Robert and his team on a number of occasions over the last 6 years and they have only ever done a good job. They've installed bi-folder doors including a new lintel and dealing with building regulations for us, laid flooring, replastered walls, completely refitted a bathroom, did all the plumbing and electrics for a new kitchen and everything has been high quality work. They are a very professional team and good at leaving the house tidy every day.
Robert and his team did an extensive refurbishment of our recently acquired London flat. Removed a partition wall, refurbished two bathrooms and the kitchen and re-wired and decorated throughout. Is team did a really good job, always wanting to get everything just as we wanted - very patient with his client and stuck to his budget. Best electrician I have ever worked with.
