I stayed here for 2 nights & then came back a couple of days later to stay another night as my husband was in Kings Hospital. The staff were always helpful, amazing and supportive. Rooms were lovely and well kept. Breakfast was also lovely. I can’t thank all the staff enough including the housekeepers. Will always stay when we are up that way.
Lack of clear information on the website. The hotel is a maze. My room was on one of the top (5th) floors (there are many) and no guidance how to reach. Even the receptionist couldn't find the room! No lift . Beware you will have to go up and down to find your room. Website said shared bathroom. Lack of clarity that it would be shared with 4 or 5 other rooms Again the receptionist didn't know how many! How is this a boutique hotel. Its a joke!
Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel whilst a family member was in at the Kings college hospital. It's not the usual type of hotel that I'd usually stay at. The top floor bedroom was clean and ok to sleep in. The sink/tap in bedroom and bathroom was broken and there was mould in the bathroom which wasn't nice to use. I informed the reception staff and maid but whether that gets dealt with is another thing. The rooms are very small. I personally would only stay there for a short time if it was my last resort. The staff were very pleasant though..
The hotel was nice and clean, all the staff I spoke with were very friendly. Breakfast was nicely set out with a good choice of foods and different milks (including oat). I wasn't sure about the idea of not having tea/coffee facilities in the room, but I actually really liked the layout of the shared kitchen/lounge area. The freshly gound coffee available in there is much nicer than any instant stuff you'd usually get in rooms and totally sold me on the communal layout. I look forward to stopping again.
